Remind app and text messages information

Remind is a platform typically used by teachers to communicate with students and parents. We will use it for updates because some people already have the app.  Even if you don't have the app and don't want it, you will still receive our updates as text messages.

IMPORTANT - You do not need the Remind app.  You will still receive text message updates.  Text messages will probably come from a (415) area code number.

Not to mention, sending out group messages this way is completely free.
We will try to use our Remind updates to simply inform you that there is new information up on this website.  We do not want to blow up your phone all the time with long and wordy messages.  All important information is going to be here on the website.

To request to be added to the Remind group via text follow these two instructions:

Send a text to 81010

Text this message @2800party

You can also join by clicking this link.

https://www.remind.com/join/2800party

If you are prompted to select whether you are a "Teacher", a "Parent" or a "Student", please select "Parent"

Please share this information with other members of our neighborhood.

If you are having trouble with this you can contact us through the Contact Us page on the website or you can text Barry directly.

**Please note that if you do not use the Remind app, any links to any websites get scrambled and come through looking something like this...

rmd.me/T5.r5fqCrCB

Note the "rmd.me" and don't let that discourage you.  You don't have to click on it if you don't want to, but it's just Remind's way of trying to get you to install the app and create an account.  You do not have to do that.

Thank you!
